Committee Makeup
The Social Media Coordinator shall be a Contributing Member.
Mission Statement
The Social Media Coordinator is in charge of electronic media for Party activities.
The Social Media Coordinator shall be familiar with the activities of the Party; coordinate with the Board, Outreach Director, Campaign Committee Chair, and VRD Committee Chair; keep all electronic media up to date; and shall report to the Board of Directors.
Reporting
The Social Media Coordinator makes reports monthly at the Board of Directors meeting.
The Social Media Coordinator makes a yearly report at the Annual Convention.
Committee Meetings
One in-person meeting per year at Annual Meeting; any Special Convention; all Board Meetings; all Monthly Member meetings.
Estimated Time Commitment
Social Media Coordinator: 60+ hours per year
Qualifications/ Responsibilities
Social Media Coordinator:
- The Social Media Coordinator should have understanding of the Libertarian Party Platform and have an excellent familiarity with the structure of LPEPC.
- The Social Media Coordinator will have exceptional knowledge of electronic communications.
- The Social Media Coordinator will work with VRD Committee Chair in order to advertise voter registration drives online.
- The Social Media Coordinator will work with Volunteer Coordinator in order to advertise that volunteers are needed so that events are properly staffed.
- The Social Media Coordinator will work with Outreach Director to make sure events are advertised.
- The Social Media Coordinator will work with Campaign Committee Chair to advertise Affiliate and campaign coordinated events.
- The Social Media Coordinator will work with everyone that works with each Platform to make sure they are contiguous and up to date.
- The Social Media Coordinator shall keep a Continuity Binder.
