This is the Annual Convention for the Libertarian Party of El Paso County. Board Elections held and Members vote to change the Bylaws as needed. Credentials are required. Board Meeting follows.

Saturday, January 22, 2022 beginning at 12:30pm

A volunteer will be bringing sandwiches, snacks, and drinks for a TANSTAAFL fundraiser. The library is allowing outside food as long as there is no cooking, and the food cannot be smelled outside the meeting room. You may bring a boxed lunch or participate in the fundraiser.

This is our annual Convention & Board election. The New Board will meet immediately following the Convention & training will follow.
Members of LPEPC can vote at this convention. If you are registered to vote, affiliated with the Libertarian Party, and reside in El Paso County you are a Member.

Please register as soon as possible so that we can verify that you are an eligible Member to vote at the REGISTER NOW button above.

Contributing Members who wish to run for an office must either notify the Secretary, in writing, of their intention no less than 14 days prior to the Annual Convention at which the election will be held, or bring documentation verifying eligibility.

We will be voting on Bylaws Amendments & Election of Board Members.

This one’s for you. Don’t just complain about the state of politics, get involved. No job too small.

There are several open positions.

Executive positions that will be elected at this meeting are: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer. These Executives will then appoint other voting Board Members (up to 9 voting positions).

To serve as a member of the Board of the Libertarian Party you must be registered to vote & affiliated with the Libertarian Party, you must be a resident of El Paso County, and you must be a Contributing Member (annual dues are $25).

Other positions available are Affiliate Representative, Outreach Director, Education Director, Volunteer Coordinator, Campaigns Committee Chair, Voter Registration Drive Chair, Platform Committee, Bylaws Committee, Municipality Political Issues Liaisons (small towns in this county have politics too โ€“ we need to hear from you!), Media, People that like to make phone calls, Graphics design, etc. If you’ve got a talent that you’d like to contribute we want to see you there.

The listed schedule is tentative. We are all hoping it goes much quicker.
