LPAC but who will adopt the roads?

Libertarians have always espoused the idea that community involvement and private charity are great alternatives to big government “solutions”. The Libertarian Party of Arapahoe County is committed to making the public aware of libertarian principles, and we will be volunteering, as a County Party, for various charitable and community-oriented organizations.

To this end, LPAC has joined the Arapahoe County Adopt-a-Road program, and we’re organizing our second cleanup day! We’re planning on cleaning this one-mile stretch of road three times a year. Our road is S. Himalaya St, between Quincy and Reservoir, in unincorporated Arapahoe County.

We will be meeting at 3:30pm at Aspen Crossing Elementary, which is in the middle of the stretch, to hand out supplies and safety equipment. After the cleanup, we will gather at a nearby restaurant (TBA) to relax and celebrate our accomplishment.

* Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, and sign a liability waiver.*

Please wear your LPAC Volunteer T-shirts during the cleanup — there may be photos taken for publicity purposes. *** These may be purchased for $15 if you wish to have your own for future volunteer events. ***
