A one day giveaway that last year over four thousand local residents of Colorado Springs participated in a one day event that allows each child to pick out their own book and stuffed animal. Each child then chooses an age appropriate toy. A separate area allows the children to pick out a gift for their caregiver that is wrapped on the spot by a volunteer for the child to learn to give back. Each family receives a frozen turkey, bag of potatoes, stuffing, can veg, and bread donated by the local food pantry Care and Share. Each child then is allowed to participate in a bike raffle that included giving away over 650 bicycles at last years event. Each family can also receive donated coats, gloves, and hats until all supplies are gone. The Bob Telmosse’ Foundation is a 501c non-profit foundation that has no paid members, just people helping people. All donations are given out in the one day giveaway until all everything is gone.
