Terms of Office
1 year term; renewable at Annual Convention.

Committee Makeup
The Voter Registration Drive (VRD) Committee shall consist of at least one Contributing Member who is Chair of the VRD Committee.

Mission Statement
The VRD Committee plans voter registration drives.

The VRD Committee shall become familiar with the activities of the Party, participate in outreach events, and shall make a yearly report to the Board of Directors which shall include current count of registered Libertarians in El Paso County.

Reporting
The committee makes appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors, after which it reports to the membership at the Annual Convention.

Committee Meetings
One in-person meeting per year at Annual Meeting; any Special Convention with VRD on the agenda

Estimated Time Commitment
Chair: 12+ hours per year
Member: 12+ per year

Qualifications/ Responsibilities
Chair: The Chair should have understanding of the Libertarian Party Platform and have a general familiarity with the structure of LPEPC. The Chair is responsible for passing the Secretary of State VRD test at 100%. The Chair will train volunteers and keep a list of who has been trained and share with the Secretary. The Chair coordinates volunteers for outreach opportunities and leads the discussion among committee members during VRD meetings. The Chair will also present information to the membership at the Annual Business Meeting.
Members: Should have good communication skills, have good hygiene, be actively involved with the Libertarian Party, pay attention to detail, be able to interact with various people, have knowledge of the LP Platform, and be able to attend outreach events.
